The UPCAT is an entrance examination administered by the University of the Philippines (UP) for senior high school students who want to enroll in UP’s undergraduate programs. It is known for its rigorous screening process and high level of difficulty, making it one of the most challenging college entrance exams in the country.
Unlike other university admission tests, the UPCAT does not have a fixed passing score. Instead, a student’s admission is determined by their University Predicted Grade (UPG), which is computed based on their UPCAT scores and high school grades.
